I want the Olympus Stylus 850 sw but it is so pricey that i’m pretty sure my parents wont buy it for me. Are there any other cool digital cameras for teens? Any other waterproof cameras that are less expensive?
Also, if you can find anywhere that I can buy the 850 sw for less than 9, it would be greatly appreciated.

Is there disposable waterproof cameras? If so what brand and where can I get them?
If there is only digital waterproof cameras, what would be the least expensive ones? How much & Where can I get those?

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Almost perfect
The wrist wrap is great. It’s very comfortable and strong.

The cord is a little too inflexible, so when I attach it to my camera, the larks head knot won’t tighten down, so it stays as a pretty big loop.

Also, the cord is rubber, so my guess is that sooner or later a sharp edge will nick it, and it will fail

In my opinion, they should have chosen a better material for the cord.

5 Stars Very Satisfied
I’m very satisfied with this camcorder. For the price its a nice one. I haven’t had the chance to get to work with everything that it does but I will eventually. I have shot a video with it and downloaded it to my computer and it looks great. The sound level could be louder but once downloaded the sound is good. Not too small or large. Has good weight to it. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. Amazon shipped it right on time frame they promised. You will be happy with it.

4 Stars A little overpriced but insurance
something like this is a must if you take your camera in the water. Could be cheaper but…

1 Star Don’t really need it
Well, this is a strange kind of review as I never used it, BUT that’s because we didn’t need it. I thought it was a smart purchase as a way to protect the camera from sinking to the bottom of the ocean but I found that if we were careful when passing the camera back and forth between my wife and I we didn’t need the extra hassle of the velcro wrist strap. Using the strap that comes with the camera was enough for us.

4 Stars Not for the Xacti VPC-WH1
The leash was recommended when I purchased my Sanyo Xacti VPC-WH1. However, when I received the product, I realized that it was made for the upright Xacti models. Though I just attached the leash to the camera’s strap, it would’ve been helpful to know ahead of time that this product was not made for the VPC-WH1.

Otherwise, it worked well with the workaround.
